WOW Festival Exeter
The Circle was part of the second annual Women Of The World Festival in Exeter. The festival took place on 13 and 14 October across three venues —RAMM, Exeter Phoenix and Exeter Library. The programme included artists, writers, politicians, comedians and activists. We were so inspired to meet so many feminist activists and some of members of The Circle based in the area!
The Circle’s Relationship Manager Peta Barrett joined a panel discussion focused on “Female Relationships: Building the Sisterhood”. We were also at the WOW Market Place sharing information about the important part we play in the global movement for gender equality.
There was such an incredible energy from the women in the South West. If you are based in and around Exeter and would like to know more about getting involved with The Circle and connecting up with like-minded women, please contact us through our Contact Us form and Peta will be in touch!
When? 13 and 14 October 2018.
Where? RAMM, Exeter Phoenix and Exeter Library, in Exeter.
Panel “Female Relationships: Building the Sisterhood”

friendship and explore the virtues of a united sisterhood. Chaired by psychologist and lecturer Varuni Wimalasari. Speakers include founder of Don’t Buy Her Flowers Steph Douglas, co-directors of Flip The Bird Lucy Hirst and Katherine Stevens and Peta Barrett from The Circle.”
