‘Annie Lennox - An Evening of Music and Conversation’ on Thursday 26th September 2019 at SEC Armadillo, Glasgow
Following the resounding success of the first evening held in March 2018 at Sadler’s Wells Theatre, London – Annie Lennox once again shared thoughts, memories and reflections with the audience in Glasgow during an evening of conversation, musical performance and visual imagery on 26th September 2019.
We are absolutely thrilled that Annie did this event to raise funds and awareness for us and our work. All proceeds from the evening ‘Annie Lennox – An Evening of Music and Conversation’ will be donated to The Circle to help us create transformative change in the lives of girls and women facing the challenges of gender disempowerment across the globe.
As this was the first time Annie has performed at a publicly available event in Scotland in over a decade – ‘Annie Lennox – An Evening of Music and Conversation’ offered a rare opportunity for our audience members not only to see Annie Lennox perform, but also to hear fascinating stories from her life and career. Thank you very much to everyone who came and supported The Circle!
The evening was supported by The Hunter Foundation that has been investing in inspirational charities and social entrepreneurs since its inception in 1998 and is proud to support Annie Lennox and The Circle.
